Crate Alternative

For those out there who don't crate or who need an alternative to crating, here is a wonderful idea from a breeder with years of Great Dane experience.

I love your crate alternative. I have always thought it sad that people crate their poor babies after just a few hours and sometimes minutes after getting them up and out after a sometimes very long night in the very crate. Our other Danes were never crated but we did suffer the loss of several furniture pieces. Izy is in chewing stage of her life and has been in a crate for bedtime but has the advantage of her mommy being home all day with her, but I will need to leave her during the day at times and am glad to find a way for her to be contained for her safety and my furniture's safety but yet have room for her to stretch her legs and play while she waits for my return. The idea of the t.v. is also great - Izy's favorite show is Dogs 101 along with the DVD "The Ugliest Dachshund"
